One seminar, we explored grids, and using these gridded sheets we made scale replicas from magazines, considering margins, columns, and anything else that might be part of the underlying structure that holds the design together.
Although I didn't particularly find grids the most enjoyable thing to do, I did realise that it has a very big part in Graphic Design, particularly when working for a magazine company, and as as one my ambitions in life is to become an Art Editor and work for a magazine company, I have set myself a goal to research into grids and magazines.
