Typography Photography.

In groups, we all went out into Coventry, photography different typography examples, both good and bad type.

In my sketchbook I commented on the type, stating whether it was good or bad, writing notes on what I thought about it, and whether it was easily readable/clear/detailed/simple/interesting etc. 

I very much enjoyed this task, as instead of staying in the studio, like we normally do, it was a chance to get outside, do our research and photograph our findings. 

This task proved that, although the internet is very helpful when doing research, it is also sometimes very necessary to go outside, explore, and see the art around you.
